A porn star who crashed her car into a ditch claims she was distracted by her own 'erotic thoughts'. After the Colombian nude model ,Esperanza Gomez got out of the accident,rescuers lined up to have their pictures taken with her. The 32-year old former Playboy TV host Esperanza - one of the country’s most famous porn stars - was unhurt in the accident. The Federal Government of Nigeria has ordered the sack of striking resident doctors in the country. The Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, in a circular signed by Amina Shamaki, permanent secretary of the ministry directed chief medical directors (CMDs) and medical directors (MDs) of FG tertiary health institutions to fill the vacancies created by resident doctors who have “abandoned” their programme. Resident doctors in government hospitals embarked on a nationwide strike on Monday. (more…)
Five (5) students of University of Jos has been found guilty of committing offences ranging from examination misconduct to being a member of unregistered associations in the University have been expelled. Their expulsion was confirmed by the University Management after due process which included appearance before the Students’ Disciplinary Committee. (more…)
