Former Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi dies at age 54

What a sad day for Nigeria! One of Nigeria's most iconic sports personalities, former Super Eagles captain and former coach of the team, Stephen Keshi, has died. According to his family, he died in the early hours of today Wednesday June 8th of Cardiac arrest in Benin, Edo state. He was just 54 years old. He wasn't even ill, he just suddenly died. Doctors to begin nationwide strike on Thursday June 9th

Members of the National Association of Resident Doctors of Nigeria (NARD) has said that they will be going on a nationwide strike starting from Thursday June 9th. President of the association, Muhammad Askira, announced this today June 7th. According to him, they are taking the painful decision of embarking on the strike action following the failure of the federal government to meet its demands of better working condition and better remuneration.
