Former Senate President, David Mark, has called on Nigerians not to despair in the face of the daunting economic and socio-political challenges but to remain steadfast. This is contained in a goodwill message sent by Senator Mark on Saturday in Abuja to mark Democracy Day. The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, on Saturday said that the seizure of Local Government funds by former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration contributed to the slow pace of development in Lagos State.
