UN Warns Against Impending Water & Sanitation Crisis in Lagos

UN human rights expert, Léo Heller, on Thursday, called for increased funding for water and sanitation in the 2017 budget to address the needs of 21 million residents of Lagos. Heller, UN Special Rapporteur on human rights to water and sanitation, commented on the budget, after it was presented by Governor Akinwumi Ambode to the Lagos House of Assembly, UN Secretary-General’s office said. Ebuka Obi-Uchendu In A Nasty Accident Just Days To Christmas

Media Personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu is lucky to be alive after he was almost ran over by a truck. Exactly a year ago, he was heading to a gas station after a shoot at La Campaigne Tropicana, when a truck rammed into his car and then dragged him  for almost 70 meters before coming to a stop. Trapped, dazed and in fear of the car exploding due to the impact, he managed to unlock the seat belt and jumped out through the passenger door. He was unhurt with just a scratch. (more…)

Chief of Army staff sends cows to troops in Sambisa to celebrate Christmas

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, has sent two cows to the troops in Sambisa forest to celebrate the Christmas holiday. In this video shared online, the soldiers are seen cutting the cows and according to them, their morale is very high and are ready to destroy Boko Haram.
