White House on lockdown after nearby shooting

Shooting recorded near the presidential residence in the United States led to a lockdown on Friday. US Park Police tweeted that the shooting occurred after 2 pm on West Executive Drive, near 17th and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. President Barack Obama was said to be away at the time of the incident. “Ending Price Fixing, The Making of Economic Sense” – Tinubu Defends Fuel Subsidy Removal

Former Lagos State governor and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government for courage in removing fuel subsidy. Tinubu made this known in a statement released on Thursday, saying that the president, “In an act of courage removed the oil subsidy, thereby freeing the downstream component of this strategic sector of the economy from the distortions of price fixing”.
