National Assembly members postpone Budget passing indefinitely

Members of the National Assembly have suspended the passage of the 2016 budget indefinitely following the discrepancies in figures that has trailed the budget. NASS members had fixed February 25th as the date for the passage of the budget but have shelved it. This new development was made known‎ at a joint press conference chaired by Sen. The Zebra group invests $1.1million USD in agro-industrial operations in South Eastern Nigeria

250 dismissed soldiers beg Buhari for reinstatement

The 250 soldiers who were dismissed from Nigerian Army School of Infantry for lateness to training parade, have pleaded with the army authorities and President Muhammed Buhari to reinstate them back into the Army. The soldiers who stormed Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Secretariat in Kaduna Tuesday to protest their alleged unlawful dismissal from the Army, said if reinstated they were ready to go back to confront the Boko Haram insurgents in the North-East.
