Help is on the way for a Congolese boy left disfigured after a brutal attack by chimpanzees Dunia Sibomana was considered the lucky one when a group of chimpanzees jumped from the trees and attacked him and two other boys as they played near a preserve in their native Democratic Republic of the Congo.Dunia, unlike the others, survived. But he was severely disfigured: His lips ripped off and one cheek torn apart, leaving him with muscle damage that make it hard for him to eat, swallow and communicate. (more…)

Kano preacher to die by hanging for ‘blaspheming’ Prophet Mohammed

A preacher ,Abdulaziz Dauda, popularly known as Inyass, was on Tuesday,sentenced to death by hanging after he was convicted of blaspheming Prophet Mohammed.  The trial was conducted in camera at the Kano higher sharia court . Inyass was arrested on August 18, 2015 in Abuja and brought to Kano to face trial on a two-count charge of blasphemy and inciting crisis. Saudi Arabia Defence Ministry website hacked after Shia cleric’s execution

A group of young Saudi hackers took down the Saudi Defense Ministry’s website in protest over the execution of prominent Shia cleric Sheikh Nimr Baqir al-Nimr, Iran’s Fars news agency reported. Twitter to Expand Tweet’s 140-Character Limit to 10,000

One of the main features of twitter is the 140 character limit..Now, the social networking site has revealed plans to expand the word limit to a whooping 10,000 characters.This could transform Twitter into more of a public blogging platform ..
