FRSC returns N.5m recovered at accident scene to owners

The sum of N514, 150:00 was recovered at an accident scene at Kwaita village, on the Abuja-Lokoja road by a rescue team of the Yangoji unit command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Saturday, December 26. The unit commander of the FRSC, Mr. Joseph Ezeh disclosed this to a Daily Trust reporter while handing over the money to one of the survivors of the accident. Mr Ezeh said the money was recovered after two vehicles, Toyota Corolla and Nissan Sunny cars collided. The team who rushed to the scene to rescue the victims recovered the large sum. Woman is caned in Indonesia for being ‘close’ to a man she was not married to?

An Indonesian woman was flogged outside a Mosque in Indonesia last week and her crime? For being in 'close proximity' to a man she wasn't married to. This apparently is an offence under Sharia law and the punishment is public caning. Hundreds of people gathered outside the Mosque to watch student Nur Elita canned for showing affectionate behaviour to a fellow university student. Stop giving oxygen to Boko Haram insurgency – Lai Mohammed appeals to journalists
