Saraki Wins In Court As Appeal Court Upholds His Election

Bukola Saraki The Court of Appeal sitting in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital has upheld the election of Bukola Saraki, the president of the Senate, as the lawmaker representing Kwara central senatorial district.     The Senate president took to social media to share the news of his victory. “Delighted to hear Court of Appeal upheld my election as Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District.Thank you for all your support & prayers. Mark Zuckerberg speaks out in support of Muslims

Following the Paris and San Bernadino attacks, Muslims have been criticized all over the the world. The CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg took to his official page on Wednesday, December 9, to show his support for the Muslim communities. "I want to add my voice in support of Muslims in our community and around the world," He wrote. Lagos shuts 53 churches, mosques, hotels

Lagos State Government yesterday shut down 53 churches, mosques and hotels over noise pollution and environmental nuisance in the state. Some of the worship centres were shut because they were converted from residential apartments to places of worship thereby contravening the law and constituting nuisance to neighbours. Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency, LASEPA General Manager, Engr Rasheed Shabi, while commenting on the closures said the agency received lots of complaints from residents and neighbours of the worship centers ‎.
