President Buhari Assures Nigerians the Country is Indivisible

While speaking at the Council Chambers of Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja yesterday while launching the 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal Fund, President Buhari stated that that Nigeria remains indivisible regardless of the ongoing agitation and protests for Biafra nation in parts of the country. According to the President, Nigeria recently celebrated 55 years of political independence and it continues to remain as one indivisible entity despite several grievous challenges. (more…)

Nigerian artist wins prestigious international Art prize! Yes!

Otobong Nkanga has emerged winner of the 2015 Yanghyun Foundation Artist Award in Seoul, Korea. Ms Nkanga is the first African recipient of the prestigious award. Nkanga was born in Kano, Nigeria in 1974. She studied at OAU, Nigeria, State, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts in Paris, and the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam, and completed Advanced Studies in the Performing Arts at the DasArts, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
