UPDATED: Senate announces ministerial nominees, says screening starts Oct. 13

The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki, has read out the ministerial list complied by President Muhammadu Buhari. The names which are causing outrage on social media in Nigeria, read out by Saraki were Abubakar Malami, Abdurahman Dambazzau, Aisha Alhassan, Lai Mohammed, Adebayo Shittu, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Udo Udoma and Ibrahim Jibril. Nigerian man sentenced to prison for masturbating & ejaculating on female passenger on London Underground train

Peter Fabiyi,32, was on Wednesday, September 30, sentenced to 3 years and nine months in prison by Blackfriars Crown Court after he masturbated and ejaculated over a woman while on a London Underground train. NEMA confirms 20 dead, 41 injured in Abuja explosions, Nigeria.

Abuja October blast National Emer­gency Manage­ment Agency (NEMA), yes­terday said that 15 per­sons lost their lives in the twin bomb blasts that rocked the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Friday night. In a statement, the Se­nior Information Officer of the agency, Mr Sani Datti, confirmed seven persons dead in Nyan­ya, while 21 were injured.
