Nigeria’s broadcast industry can earn over $1 billion revenue by going digital

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed during the Biennial Conference of Africa Broadcasters (Africast) noted that the digitisation of Nigeria’s broadcast industry has the potential to generate over $1 billion in revenue, annually. Although the digitisation process has not been fully implemented, the minister’s projection reveals one revenue stream that may have been overlooked by the Federal Government. (more…)

Kyuni Entertainment Group artist Franklyn Patrick Kasim, popularly known as Eff’Ell. The rapper, songwriter and producer found the love for music at a very young age, treasuring it as a gift. British Nigerian Tech guru and founder of the trailblazing African Science Academy, Tom Ilube was yesterday, October 25, named the most influential black person on the UK....many years after he was rejected for a graduate trainee scheme at McDonald's for "not being good enough" The 53-year-old philanthropist topped Powerlist 2017, the annual list of the 100 most powerful people of African and African Caribbean heritage in Britain.
