Finally You Will Be Able to Post Longer Tweets Starting September 19

Twitter is about to say bye to the 140-character limit by cutting down on what type of content will count towards the said limit. For example, media attachments such as GIFs, videos, images, polls, etc. and quoted tweets will no longer count. It will offer up ample room for extra text for users to express themselves. Google And Chrome Slowly Killing HTTP

Is HTTP about to die? We are not sure but, one thing that is true is that Google is the bounty hunter. Chrome’s security team announced today that the browser will start marking websites that use insecure HTTP connections to transmit passwords and credit card data as insecure, beginning in January 2017. The warning will appear in the address bar of the browser and will call users’ attention to the fact that their personal information could be snooped or stolen. (more…)

Updating to iOS 10 is bricking some iPhones and iPads

Apple just released iOS 10 to the masses, and its seems the update is bricking a bunch of iPhones and iPads.   Hundreds of people have taken to Twitter to complain to Apple Support’s account that the update has bricked their device. The bug is not affecting everyone, but judging from the reaction on Twitter and from fellow iPhone users it seems like a pretty widespread error. (more…)
