Beyonce opened up the 2016 BET Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with a surprise performance of Freedom. Performing a high-energy choreography with back up dancers from her Formation world tour, she looked amazing in a black sequined bodysuit and was later joined by rapper Kendrick Lamar on the water filled stage. South African star Black Coffee has won the coveted “Best International Act: Africa” award as part of the recognition awards at the 2016 BET Africa. Tonight a show was held at Staples Center headlined by Lil Wayne and the BET platform used it as an opportunity to announce the winners for some awards. (more…)
