African Literary Feud | 3 Years On Binyavanga and Elnathan Are Still Fighting

Like the ever famous fight for Queen Beyonce by Kanye West with Taylor Swift, its seem like Chimamanda is now the new Queen Bey, Binyavanga is Kanye West and Elnathan is Taylor Swift. The 3-year feud between Chimamanda Adichie and Elnathan John opened a new chapter with Elnathan strongly suggesting that Adichie’s camp tried to sabotage his career by blacklisting him in global literary circles. Nigerian Writer Ggbenga Adesina’s Featured in New York Times Magazine

Gbenga Adesina first came under our radar in 2014 when he submitted a poem titled “Rediscovery,” a beautiful piece that we went on to publish on Brittle Paper . He continued writing and getting his work out there in various platforms. As it happens for hardworking and talented writers, Adesina is finally on the road to the success of which most writers dream.  A few months ago, he emerged co-winner of the prestigious Brunel University African Poetry Prize [read here if you missed it].
