My detention is scaring away investors- Dasuki

Embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki who is standing trial for the alleged misappropriation of $2.1 billion arms deal fund, says his continued detention despite two approved bail applications which he has fulfilled, is scaring investors from Nigeria. Dasuki Released from Prison and Re-Arrested Shortly After

Sambo Dasuki is not having a Merry Christmas right now. The embattled former National  Security Adviser was re-arrested yesterday shortly after being released from Kuje prison in Abuja, Daily Trust reports. He was taken to court by EFCC,  but he was granted bail last week along with former Sokoto State governor, Attahiru Bafarawa and his son, Sagir, as well as a former NNPC official, Aminu Baba Kusa. Dasukigate is blood money – Borno state Gov. Kashim Shettima says

Borno state governor, Kashim Shettima has described the funds alleged to have been stolen in the $2.1 billion arms deal scandal which is now being described as Dasukigate on social media, as blood money. Dasuki to spend Christmas in Kuje prison

Former National Security Adviser Sambo Dasuki will be spending the Christmas holiday in Kuje prison following his inability to meet the N250 million bail conditions for two separate trials he is facing. Dasuki is standing trial for 32-count charge of money laundering and a 19 count charge of N9.6 billion fraud. Two Federal high courts granted him N250 million bail in two separate applications last week.

Dasuki and Nduka Obaigbena “I collected N670 million from Dasuki as compensation for Boko Haram attack”

Dasuki matters....  The Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of ThisDay newspaper, Nduka Obaigbena, has said he collected N670 million from the immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki, as compensation for attacks on his newspaper’s offices in Abuja and Kaduna in 2012.   He said he also received compensation for the illegal seizure of newspapers by men of the armed forces. Mr. Obaigbena made the disclosure while responding to an invitation by the Economic and Financial Commission (EFCC) in connection to the ongoing probe into the usage of $2.1 billion arms
