President of football’s world governing body (FIFA) - Mr Gianni Infantino and the Secretary General, Fatma Samoura arrived today in Abuja, Nigeria on a two day working visit. World football governing body, FIFA, today honored Lille Metropole’s Nigerian goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama for his outstanding performance with the French club. Enyeama shared a photo of himself holding the trophy and wrote; "This is how goodness and mercy will follow you all this month of March. First day of the month, FIFA got me a trophy for hardwork, dedication, success. Thank you @fifa. I want to wish everyone reading this message a wonderful month of March. God did it for me. God will do it for us,”.
The ad-hoc Electoral Committee of the world's football governing body, FIFA, has announced the candidates that will contest in it's February 26th presidential election, that will herald a new reign in the leadership of football globally. Names of the candidates include Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein of Jordan, Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim AL Khalifa of Bahrain, Jersey Champagne of France, Gianni Infantino of Italy and Tokyo Sexwale of South Africa.
