Nigeria defeat Niger in 2016 CHAN opener – Nigeria made a blistering start to the 2016 Cup of Home-Based African Nations, defeating Niger Republic 4-1 in their opening group match. A 2-2 draw in the group’s first game between Tunisia and Guinea have given the home-based Eagles the chance to top their group with a win.
