Farmers in Plateau have decried the persistent stealing of crops on farmlands, and declared that the situation was posing a major threat to the prospects of a bountiful harvest. Some of them, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Jos, said that the thieves usually invade yam, maize, sugarcane, rice, cassava, fruits and cocoyam farms at night. (more…)
