UNIJOS suspends lecturer allegedly caught cheating during a Master’s degree exams

The University of Jos has suspended an associate professor of law, who was allegedly caught cheating during an examination on May 4, Premium Times reports Benedicta Dauda, a former head of the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law of the Faculty of Law was allegedly caught copying from a prepared answer during an examination for a Master’s degree in Research and Public Policy in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Fayose visits students of Ekiti State University who survived yesterday’s fatal accident

Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, yesterday night visited Ekiti state teaching hospital where some students of the Ekiti state University ‎who survived a fatal accident that killed 8 of their colleagues, are being treated. The accident occurred when the EKSU students' cab and an 18- passengers BUS collided along the NNPC-Iwokoro Ekiti State University yesterday evening. Speaking at the hospital, Fayose described the incident as unfortunate. (more…)
