The BET Awards 2016 held on Sunday, 26th June 2016 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angels and people are waking to the greatness that took place both on stage and on the Red carpet. Quite a number of Africans were present either as nominees, red carpet presenters or just in attendance and it was refreshing to see them all bring their A -Game along with other actors and music artiste from all over the world. Beyoncé took to the stage and performed “Freedom” with Kendrick Lamar in a custom black embellished Julien Macdonald bodysuit. Marni Senofonte styled the ensemble, working together with King Bey after assembling a ton of looks for “Lemonade”.
