Tourist dies after falling down steps at the Taj Mahal ‘while trying to take a selfie’

A Japanese tourist who was attempting to take a selfie at the Taj Mahal has died after he fell down some steps and suffered a heart attack. Sixty-six-year-old Hideto Uedo was believed to have been taking a photograph at the Royal Gate when the incident occurred, 'He was rushed in an ambulance to the hospital but he could not be revived,' Sushant Gaur told AFP.
