Fashion brand Onolaja has released the lookbook photos for its Spring Summer 2016 collection.
The relatively new womenswear brand debuts its SS16 collection featuring contemporary pieces for the trendy woman in bright and subtle pinks, prints and white neutrals that were cut into day and evening ensembles.
The label, founded by Kanyinsola Onalaja a graduate of the Istituto Marangoni, aims to bridge the gap between her Nigerian heritage and flair for artisan crafts, Italian design aesthetics with the formality of the British tribalism and traditions.
The collection embodies the new age woman, who has business meetings, dinner galas and art exhibitions to attend. It is a futuristic play on classic wardrobe staples but with none of the stale basics of mundane dressing.
