Louis-van-Gaal-leaving-London-hotel

Louis van Gaal appears to have confirmed his time as the manager of Manchester United has come to an end.

The Dutchman lifted the FA Cup at Wembley on Saturday but that hasn’t been enough to save his job, with United’s top brass set to officially remove him from his position and employ Jose Mourinho in his place.

When asked outside United’s team hotel in London about his future Van Gaal simply said: “No, no, no, it’s over.”

The quote is ambiguous of course but in the current climate, with odds of Mourinho taking over plummeting, it appears Van Gaal’s time is up.
