After leaking over the weekend, Microsoft’s latest gaming console is now official. Introduced today at Microsoft’s E3 press conference, the aptly named Xbox One Slim is 40% smaller than its predecessor, but don’t let the name fool you: the latest Xbox is Microsoft’s most powerful console yet.

Now offering 4K Ultra HD video support, the “robot white” machine comes with both gaming and video HDR capabilities, not to mention some slight modifications like a more accessible USB port and a vertical stand. Thankfully, the Slim finally ditches that pesky power brick and moves the controller pairing button to the front of the console along with a built-in IR blaster. The refresh even extends to the controller, which has been modified to include new grips for added comfort and Bluetooth for extra range and PC use.

The Xbox One Slim is slated to debut in early August with a special 2TB launch edition for $399 USD while standard 1TB ($349 USD) and 500GB ($299 USD) options will follow shortly thereafter.
