After 10 years with Rag & Bone, David Neville is stepping down from his role as co-CEO. His longtime business partner, Marcus Wainwright, whom he became co-CEOs with in 2015, will become the sole chief executive officer and still run the creative side of the business.

“To be able to build a brand from nothing showed an awful lot of determination, ambition, grit, and trust in one another to make it happen,” Neville tells Business of Fashion. “I think that people could always see that Marcus and I were very committed and dedicated to what we wanted to achieve.”

Neville will stay on as a member of the board of directors and as a shareholder. He plans to help his wife, makeup artist Gucci Westman, launch her own beauty and skin care brand as well as support emerging brands the same way Rag & Bone partner Andrew Rosen did for them when the brand was starting out in 2006. “I find it exciting to go in and talk to some of these young brands about where they are and what they’re trying to achieve,” Neville says.
