There are two categories of internet users in Nigeria, the ones who have unlimited data plans with 4G capabilities and the internet users like us who still don’t have 4G but endures limited internet data plans.  So which are you? 

Ntel

Ntel being the latest 4G operators are still trying to cover a whole lot of cities, but as at now, they have the smallest coverage in the country as they cover just the two states below.

  1. Lagos
  2. Abuja

Visafone

Unlike MTN which covers almost everywhere in Nigeria. Its subsidiary, Visafone does not. Visafone 4G is only available in the seven locations below.

  1. Lagos
  2. Port Harcourt
  3. Ibadan
  4. Abuja
  5. Abeokuta
  6. Sagamu
  7. Kaduna

Smile

As at the time of this post, Smile covers more places over every other 4G operator in Nigeria, beating Visafone by just one. Visafone 4G is only available in the eight locations below:

  1. Lagos
  2. Port Harcourt
  3. Ibadan
  4. Abuja
  5. Benin City
  6. Kaduna
  7. Onitsha
  8. Asaba
