StartUp Arewa Pictures From The 3 Day Kaduna State Tech Event

The City of Kaduna will hosted Technopreneurs, Tech Startups, Tech enthusiasts, Developers and Lovers of Technology between 17^th of November and 19^th of November 2016 at Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation Hall, Kaduna for the launch of Startup Arewa and the unveiling of Startup Platz. The Organizers and volunteers of Startup Arewa Kaduna Series have been working assiduously behind the scenes to ensure that this event provides not only inspiration, but the resources required for building and launching a viable, scalable platform. Startup Arewa, recently launched in Kaduna city on 17th November. The initiative was organised  by Emerge Tech Africa and Network of Incubators & Innovators in Nigeria (NIINE) and focuses on the growth and development of the Northern Nigerian technology startup ecosystem.

The founder, Mohammed Ibrahim Jega, intends the startup to become the largest tech eco-system in the country and rightfully so, with the numbers in their favour. The event had in attendance representatives from the 19 states that make up Arewa and there was a lot of support from the Bank of Industry, Kaduna State Government, Nigerian Export-Import Bank, Microsoft, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Jaiz Bank, MTN Nigeria, Nigerian Communications Commission and so many others.
