Is Samsung truly out of the race this year, I do believe they got something up sleeves, no one willing losses in the tech world.
Today is September 7th. According to KGI via 9to5Mac, there will be new features on the iPhone 7, some of which include a new Apple A10 SoC reportedly clocked at 2.4 GHz, up from the 1.85 GHz of the A9. The iPhone 7 would also come in 2 new color options to replace the Space Grey — they include the “dark black” and glossy “piano black.”
Speaking of capacity, the new iPhone 7 family will be getting a storage revamp; we would be looking at a 32, 128, and 256 GB configurations. Meanwhile, the RAM will remain at 2 GB of RAM, but the iPhone 7 Plus will supposedly get 3 GB.
Other noticeable features include the inclusion of a new camera flash component to improve photos taken in low-light conditions, an increase in the number of LEDs, from two to four and a dual camera setup. However, unlike the Huawei P9, which had one monochrome and one RGB sensor, the iPhone 7 will supposedly have one wide-angle and one telephoto camera instead, both with 12-megapixel sensors. Finally, there would be changes to the speaker system, Force Touch sensors, waterproofing and more.
