It took four firefighters and a vet to free a cow who somehow got her head stuck in a tree

One hapless cow in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England, got itself into a tight spot after it managed to get its head stuck in a tree trunk. The operation to free her took all of four fighters and a vet. She was sedated before they used straps, saws , and other tools to free her. North Yorkshire Fire Service tweeted pictures of their rescue, with the caption: 'it was a happy ending for all'.  More photos after the cut. (more…)

CORE Development Initiative is a Non Governmental Organization that exists to assist the young generation, discover their strengths, focus their energies appropriately and awaken the hidden talents and resources that reside in them. CORE stands for (Creating Opportunities, Reinventing Expertise) They organized a Business Cluster meeting for youths on its platform on 28th May 2016 at The Be Better Centre, Gudu in Abuja. As part of an ad campaign for the Swiss online bank, Swissquote, Georgian artist Tatiana Trikoz has reimagined different hundred dollar bills with our generation’s billionaires. Encompassed under the tagline “A new era for your finances,” the artist has reimagined Mark Zuckerberg in place of Benjamin Franklin on the U.S. bill, Richard Branson in place of Queen Elizabeth II on the 100 pound note and Elon Musk in place of Alberto Giacomette on the Swiss Franc.
