Buhari appoints Blind man as his Special Assistant

President Buhari has appointed a visually impaired man, Dr. Samuel Inalegwu Ode Ankeli as his Senior Special Assistant on matters concerning disabled people‎. Senior Special Assistant to Buhari on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, announced this in a statement released today Feb. 22nd.‎ Shehu stated that Ankeli had headed the Directorate of Persons with Disability at the Buhari/Osinbajo APC Presidential Campaign Headquarters, "the first of any such department in a political party in Nigeria".
