EFCC Raids Ex-VP Namadi Sambo’s Abuja Office

 Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in search of more evidence on the unravelling $2.1 billion arms purchase scandal have raided the Abuja offices of former Vice President Namadi Sambo. EFCC seizes Dasuki’s, General’s houses in Kaduna(Photos)

Property believed to belong to embattled former National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki was at the weekend confiscated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna. It was learnt that the property of others linked with the $2.1billion scandal were also confiscated by the anti-graft agency in Kaduna. EFCC arrests Buhari’s associate, APC chieftain, Jafaru Isa

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday night arrested a former military governor of Kaduna State under  military regime of General Sani Abacha ,and  APC chieftain, Lawal Jafaru Isa. Premium Times reports ,Mr. Isa is the first chieftain of the APC arrested by the EFCC regarding the $2.1 billion arms purchase scandal. ‘EFCC,you all know where I live’-Wole Soyinka replies Wike’s call to probe N82m dinner

 Professor Wole Soyinka doesn't take accusation lightly especially when he is the one doing most of, what I call, the controversial accuse me I accuse you triad.  He has reacted to a statement by Rivers State Information Commissioner , Dr Austin Tam-George that the state would demand refund from Soyinka if he collected cash from the N82 Million spent by former Governor Rotimi Amaechi on a dinner to honour him.  Which is senseless to me especially when former Pres. GoodLuck threw dinners for the entertainment sector, so should Pres. Buhari now go and collect all the monies

PDP releases statement on Olisa Metuh’s arrest by EFCC

Below is the statement from PDP Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arrived the Abuja home of the spokesman of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh this morning, inviting him to follow them to the commission’s headquarters. Upon enquiry on the reasons for the invitation, the officials stated that he has some issues to clear with the commission. They also said he was not being arrested but friendly invited.
