EFCC slams theft charge on Tompolo, Akpobolokemi, accuse them of converting NIMASA’s $108.7m & N2.2bn properties

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has filed a 40-count criminal charge of unlawful conversion of $108.7 million and N2.2billion property of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, on the leader of Niger-Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo also known as Tompolo and ex-NIMASA boss, Patrick Akpobolokemi. Both were charged before a Federal high court sitting in Lagos south west Nigeria. EFCC: Ibrahim Replaces Ibrahim?

Ibrahim Magu replaces Ibrahim Lamorde as the Chairman of EFCC Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Lamorde, has been replaced by Ibrahim Magu, who is a top level official of the Economic and Governance Unit of the EFCC. Lamorde became EFCC chairman in 2011. More details to come.
