Met gay Police officers get engaged at London Gay Pride

A couple of police officers got engaged at London Gay Pride today and the proposals were caught on camera. The pictures tweeted by the Met's LGBT network shows one of the officer, who appears to have been on duty at the time, asking his boyfriend to marry him as festival revellers set off confetti cannons in the background. Obama reacts to Brexit vote

Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama said Friday that the relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom will not change following the Brexit vote. "While the UK's relationship with the EU will change, one thing that will not change is the special relationship that exists between our two nations," Obama said during remarks at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, after Britons decided to separate from the European Union. Mikel Obi, Odion Ighalo, Alex Iwobi all in the 35-man preliminary Rio Olympic squad

The Nigerian Football Federation has unveiled the preliminary 35-man football squad prepared by coach Samson Siasia, to represent Nigeria in the Summer Olympic games set for August in Rio de Janeiro. Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, Watford striker Odion Ighalo and Arsenal young revelation Alex Iwobi have all been included in the list.
